choose your base. i picked a cameron image, from house ep 3x15. crop and resize it. ![]() ![]() open a new curves adjustment layer. rgb input:36; output:76 and duplicate it two times. on the third screen layer set the opacity to 30%. -> ![]() open a new selective color layer. yellows cyan: 0; magenta: +53; yellow: -100; black: 0 neutrals cyan: +49; magenta: 0; yellow: 0; black: -34 -> ![]() duplicate your base, put it on the top of the layers and set it to soft light, 50%. -> ![]() open a new layer, fill it with #070A19 and set the blend mode to exclusion, 100% opacity. open another new layer, fill it with #07FF85 and set the blend mode to luminosity, 82%. -> ![]() now duplicate your base two times, drag the two layers to the top, set them to soft light; the first with 100% and the second with 42% of opacity. -> ![]() open a new brightness/contrast layer: brightness: +20 contrast: +11 now take this texture (i don't remember who is the owner, sorry. if you do please let me know!), resize it and set the blend mode to multiply, 100%; and this texture, by peoplemachines, resize and set the blend mode to screen, 72%. and you're done! ![]() - I'd love to see what you come up with; - There's no need to credit. other icons made with this same technic: ![]() ![]() |
