choose your base. i picked this image, from lost media. crop and resize it. ![]() ![]() open a new curves adjustment layer. rgb input:49; output:70 it will look like this; and then, duplicate this layer. -> ![]() open a new layer, fill it with #EAB75F and set the blend mode to multiply, 16% opacity. -> ![]() open a new selective color layer. reds cyan: -100; magenta: +36; yellow: +40; black: 0 yellows cyan: -20; magenta: -34; yellow: -70; black: 0 neutrals cyan: +20; magenta: +4; yellow: +8; black: -22 -> ![]() open a new color balance layer. midtones -28; -16; -15 shadows -13; 0; -16 -> ![]() now duplicate your base, drag it to the top, set it to soft light. then select filter>blur>gaussian blur (8,0 pixels). -> ![]() open a new selective color layer. reds cyan: -100; magenta: +49; yellow: +48; black: 0 neutrals cyan: +63; magenta: -27; yellow: -22; black: 0 -> ![]() now take this texture by peoplemachines, resize it and set the blend mode to multiply, 50%; and this texture, also by peoplemachines, resize and set the blend mode to screen, 30%. and you're done! ![]() - I'd love to see what you come up with; - There's no need to credit. other icons made with this same technic: ![]() ![]() |
